Founder and CEO
Dave Cerniglia founded Consiliant Technologies in August of 2002 after over 15 years of business development and sales leadership experience in technology. Prior to starting Consiliant, Dave was instrumental in the development and growth of the Western Region for two start-up companies: TrueSAN Networks, a pioneer in storage infrastructure and virtualization software, and the managed service provider S4R, Inc.
Before that Dave served as the Director of Western Regional Sales at Softworks, Inc., whereat he successfully managed its transition when acquired by EMC. Dave’s career in the data storage and storage management business began with MTI after he spent a number of years in the banking industry working for Citibank. Dave received a B.B.A. in Business from Loyola Marymount University.
Dave’s experience in start-up organizations, dependent on fast growth and market penetration, was the catalyst for his decision to start his own company.
Vice President and Sr. Partner
Joe Kadlec joined Consiliant in 2002 to help launch the company’s presence in the data storage and storage management arena. Joe’s responsibilities include setting and executing the strategic vision of the company while providing the framework for managed growth. He is involved in new business development, partner relations and corporate marketing.
Prior to Consiliant Joe was Vice President of Sales for U.S. Technical Services, a professional services consulting company specializing in systems engineering support for enterprise-class data centers. Joe has over 17 years of sales and sales management experience in the computer storage industry. Prior to joining U.S. Technical Services, he was the Director of Western Regional Sales for Fiberlink Communications, a virtual private networking company. He was instrumental in territory development, revenue growth and recruiting throughout a 14-state area.
Joe started his technology sales career at MTI providing a consultative approach to data storage solutions. He earned numerous awards for outstanding achievement while advancing through the sales management organization.
He spent 4 years as a member of the Loyola Marymount University Alumni Association Board of Directors. Joe received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from Loyola Marymount University.
Vice President of Legal Affairs
Erin Cerniglia joined the Consiliant team as Vice President of Legal Affairs in August 2002. Erin’s primary responsibilities include matters related to corporate development. Prior to joining Consiliant, Erin practiced at the law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, where she concentrated in the areas of Bankruptcy Law and general business litigation. Erin is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University Los Angeles graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles.
Director of Sales – Central Region
Jim Jenkins joined Consiliant in our San Diego, California office in 2015. He was promoted in 2017 to Central Region Sales Director in Santa Fe, New Mexico to manage Consiliant Technologies’ rapidly growing business into the central U.S. Jim brings 30+ years of successful sales, technical and business experience to his new role. Jim graduated in engineering from the University of Utah and has focused his career on challenging sales roles within young companies and organizations, including Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Overland Storage and SimpliVity. He has also successfully started and grown four of his own technology businesses.
