Solutions Consultant

Consiliant has an open position for a consulting engineer responsible for providing support for various storage and networking infrastructure products and services. The engineer will provide support and leadership around data storage and networking design and architecture as well as provide product updates and advice to Consiliant’s clients. The engineer will also present recommendations to clients regarding configurations and will be responsible for the development of the project scope and proposals.

Job Requirements

  • Providing advanced presales support for storage and networking opportunities
  • Participating in client calls with Sales Representatives
  • Translating complex business requirements into technology solutions
  • Developing overall solutions including high-level design, statement of work, and bills of materials
  • Assisting Sales Representatives with presenting solutions to client
  • Providing advanced training and support for internal teams
  • Providing advice regarding architectural questions, product prerequisites, product features, etc.
  • Assisting teammates with BOM development for technology solutions
  • Work as a team in the development of multi-vendor solutions
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships customers and partners
  • Attending key partner events and training sessions
  • Continued training to maintain expertise and manufacturer”s certifications
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent written skills and the ability to do related documentation of opportunities/meeting follow up
  • Ability to understand the client’s business objectives and technical needs
  • Ability to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to sales and clients
  • Maintain professional relationships with teammates, partners and clients
  • Travel required within assigned territory

Minimum Requirements

  • Education and/or Experience
  • College degree or specialty degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Network Industry Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, storage and DR is a plus

Account Executive – Sales Representative

The Account Executive must be able to identify, qualify and close new business opportunities.  This role is focused on generating new business sales with medium to large businesses and institutions. The candidate must be able to prospect, consult with clients on technology solutions and possess enough technical skill to develop opportunities with the help of Consiliant’s engineering team.

Competitive base salary + uncapped commissions and accelerators with additional rewards for high achievers!  The qualified candidate will earn in excess of $140,000 annually at quota.

Qualifications of the Account Executive – Sales Representative position

  • Possess the personality to successfully engage with C-Suite executives and senior managers
  • Proven track record as a strong prospector
  • Positive attitude and desire to work in a rapid-growth professional environment
  • Technical aptitude: Either you are in love with technology or you have a desire to learn how technology impacts business and have the aptitude to understand its impact
  • Phenomenal phone skills with the ability to convey enthusiasm and energy
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, may accept four (4) years of equivalent Technology Solutions Sales experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Technology Solutions Sales required

Responsibilities of the Account Executive – Sales Representative Position

  • Manage client expectations and deliverables
  • Complete outgoing calls to leads provided by the Marketing team
  • Explain the company’s value proposition
  • Meet Revenue Targets
  • Distribute marketing materials to prospects as needed
  • Schedule 2-5 qualified new account appointments per week
  • Develop customer touches to enhance connect rate with prospects
  • Self-motivated and achievement oriented
  • Outbound productivity including prospecting daily calls
  • Must have no aversion to cold calling
  • Qualifying viable prospects for technology discussion calls and appointments.
  • Follow-up on every qualified sales lead (email/phone combined).
  • Document and communicate information gathered during qualification process.
  • Produce detailed notes for each sales prospect.
  • Available to attend outside sales meetings and other networking responsibilities.
  • Preparation of accurate sales forecasts
  • Organization of sales and marketing events to increase customer interest and drive new sales
  • Networking with technology partnerships to broaden industry relationships
  • Acquisition of industry sales and/or technical certifications appropriate to our industry

Required Skills of the Account Executive – Sales Representative Position

  • Prior business-to-business sales experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with managing customer expectations
  • Technical aptitude and knowledge is important, along with the ability to translate the complexities of technology to a lay person’s language
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sales background with a history of achieving quotas
  • Ability to multitask effectively required
  • Ability to work effectively independently required
